Gear

I use a wide range of equipment depending on the project I’m undertaking. Here’s a brief rundown on the gear I usually use with links to previous blog posts for more info.

If you’re buying new equipment I’d suggest at least looking at the prices on your local Amazon. Purchasing something through my affiliate links  doesn’t cost you a cent, and will help support my business.

PENTAX 67II System

Until 2010 I shot almost exclusively with the medium format Pentax 67II system. It resulted in a heavy travel bag, but the huge transparencies were outstanding.

Travel67.com gets its name from the years spent with this camera.

I used Fujifilim Provia 100F 220 rolls – which gave me 21 shots per roll with the 67II. I would send the original transparencies to clients to be drum scanned or I’d use an Epson Perfection V750 Blog post here.

PENTAX 645Z System

I now use the Pentax 645z medium format digital system. This gives me the amazing resolution and image quality of medium format  film with the faster workflow of digital.

I currently use the 25mm, 35mm,  55mm, 90mm, 300mm lenses
