    Looks like a good festival. In Nagoya we have the Do-matsuri at the end of August. My wife hates it. There’s no tradition behind it, it’s a pseudo “Japanese” festival and she just can’t see the point. I don’t think there is one apart from getting thousands of people to dance in the streets for a couple of days in the summer, and that’s not so bad. The Eisa has a history and a culture and makes that whole event slightly more ….. real?
