One of the issue I heard about DMFB is that it is very hard to control the depth of field. Look at the character of the dress start to make me worry. But at least the head seems ok. Is that a 67 lens at F4?

      Hi Dennis,
I think this is more to do with the difference between formats. As you move from APS, to 35mm to medium format you are increasing the sensor size and, with other factors constant, decreasing the depth of field. This means that when shooting portraits you can drop off into a nice bokeh background very easily but you also can easily miss the focus when the DOF is so narrow.

This is one of the reasons why for the street portraits I do of people I stop them have a chat and then take my time focussing on the eyes. With a narrow depth of field if I used auto focus I would probably end up with images with sharp noses and blurry eyes.
