So here’s the plan…
I enjoy shooting models in the studio against a plain background. I enjoy photographing iconic locations in Japan. Now if you combined the two, and perhaps added a little off-camera flash, then hopefully you can create some interesting imagery.
The set up…
Model: Charissa Littlejohn Makeup: Jaylene Wu Camera: 645D with 55mm lens Strobe: Pentax AF400T triggered by PocketWizard Location: East Shinjuku, Tokyo
The images…
I’ve put slightly larger versions of the four images on Flickr.
I’d be interested to hear which you prefer of the four images. Charissa loves number 4, but I think shot number 2 is my favorite.

Like I said, I was amazed when I saw those shots at a distance on your computer. I love shot 2, with number 3 coming a close 2nd. I usually go for the neon lights of Tokyo for a backdrop, but there’s something about the angle and composition of that 2nd shot that does it for me.
Once again, kudos to you for some awesome shots.

I like the second photo❤
Number 2, for sure. has an elegance to it and love the sweep of the verticals. Four is a great shot, the blur of people behind is fantastic but she looks too aggressive. Two and three she is not looking at the camera which always works better for me in street shoots as even if they are set up scenes they want to look and feel like reportage: she is going somewhere when you photographed her sort of thing.

Number 2 is awesome mate
