Last week I did a location / studio session with bodybuilder and servicewoman Andrea Conn. Andrea has been training for the Pacific Muscle Classic Show on June 2nd, and wanted photos of herself while looking and feeling at her peak.

After an hour on the beach we headed over to the studio and I shot both fitness portraits, and some softer beauty shots. This gave her a nice selection of images for both her own albums and to send to family back home.

All in all, a fantastic shoot with a lovely lady. I’m sure she’ll knock it out of the park at tomorrow’s competition.

Had to set up the studio for a canine client today. Bear helped out before the shoot, so that I could get the lighting right. Bear doesn’t work for peanuts. Just dog biscuits.

There are some things I didn’t expect to see while traveling in India. A man dressed as Jesus, carrying a cross down the street was one. The fact that a second Jesus with bright orange hair was walking just behind him made the scene all the more surreal.

It’s quite a hike to make your way from the old town, up through maze of walls and gateways, to the top of the fort. It is worth remembering, that some who attempted this jaunt ended up impaled on spikes, showered with boiling oil, shot with arrows, and / or hacked, cleaved or decapitated.
