Finally finished a couple of big assignments for clients, this means I can get back to shooting the Karate Masters Portrait Project. Yesterday James and I were invited to the dojo of Keishun Kakinohana in Okinawa City.

    Hi Chris, thank you so much for these awesome photographs of Hanshi Kakinohana. I practiced Okinawan Karate in his Dojo (Shorin Ryu, Shorinkai) and I really like your Karate master series.

    Kakinohana Sensei was my instructor for 17 years while I was in Okinawa. More than just a karate instructor, a mentor and a friend. Thanks for your karate master’s project.
